Stephanie and Jay Wed at Angus Barn Pavilions!

When Marty and I arrived at The Pavilions at Angus Barn on Saturday April 19, 2014 for Stephanie and Jay's wedding, it was threatening rain, chilly and windy. The call was made to move the ceremony indoors. No problem at this venue! It is gorgeous outside and inside.
So, Kelly Joslin and her staff at Angus Barn had transformed the interior of The Pavilion into a beautiful ceremony space. Nearly 200 chairs curved around the huge stone fireplace.
The tables were pushed to the sides and after the ceremony were pulled back into the room and the chairs placed around them.
The ceiling was filled with white lights and the chandeliers hung with sparkling cascades of beading.
The stone hearth was decorated with candles and beautiful white lilies. In the middle was a bench with the sand ceremony set up. Florals were by A Watered Garden
The cake by Sugarland was ready!
Andrea Blanchfield, our harpist, was set up and warming up.
Great food!
They displayed photos of their loved ones who had passed on.
Behind the chairs was the stage and the band was being set up.

Our beautiful bride was escorted in by her son, Josh.
They made their way down the aisle to a beaming Jay!
We opened with a warm welcome to all and a prayer.
Stephanie took Josh's hand right before the children's blessing.
Telling Josh how loved and important he is!
Then it was time to tell their story of how they met, fell in love and decided to marry.
Yes, Stephanie and Jay's fun loving natures really came out during the ceremony as it was peppered with lots of laughter. The guests had a great time!
Jay's father, Jim, was his best man. Looks like he is enjoying the ceremony as well.
Then it was time for the vows and the rings..
Then the pouring of the sand.......
Before the pronouncement I asked the couple to look around at all their loved ones who had gathered in their honor.
The pronouncement......
Ha ha! Look at Josh covering his face for that "mushy stuff!" The KISS!
After the ceremony we went outside for some photos. Josh quickly found this big rock to climb onto! He is such a cutie! Our photographers were Laura Simson and her second shooter Rebecca of Captured Moments Photography.
Stephanie, Jay and Josh, what a fabulous family you all are! It was my honor to join you together in marriage. I wish for you only the best life can offer!

Incredibly Beautiful Wedding of Cayce and Scott!

Cayce and Scott are definitely "wedding people!" Each of them had dreams of their wedding day and put them all together so that their vision came through beautifully! I have so many good photos of their wedding I had problems cutting them down for this blog! So, to start at the beginning of my relationship with Scott and Cayce, we met last July to talk about what they wanted for their wedding ceremony scheduled for April 27, 2013 at The Pavilions at Angus Barn. Their ideas and mine meshed and they loved that their story would be incorporated into the ceremony with tenderness and humor! And they have a good story. They met on Match.com Christmas season of 2009 and quickly discovered that they both love family and being together. They each had checklists of what they wanted in a partner and much to their delight, their lists fit together amazingly well. Then they both passed the "introduction to the family" test as well. Scott proposed in February of 2012 and they began putting this wedding together. They chose The Pavilions at Angus Barn for their venue and Kelly Joslin on staff there served as their wedding director. They hired a string trio provided by Arioso Strings to provide ceremony music. Their photographer was Charlie Dickens assisted by his wife Beth. Michelle Duncan with Embellished Blooms was their florist and Cinda's Creative Cakes baked their beautiful cake.
The wedding day dawned with mild temperatures and clear skies. When Dave (Marty was on vacation, so he got drafted) and I arrived, the Sand Ceremony was all set up and ready to go.
Our musicians were warming up....
The Pavilion was ready for the reception...
Cinda's pretty cake was all set up too.
Charlie Dickens, our photographer.
What a great shot of the groom and his men! Scott's best man was his father, Gil.
Grandmother of the Bride was escorted in first.
Scott escorted his mother, Patricia, in.
Then it was time for Cindy, Mother of the Bride, to be escorted in by her son, Rick.
Scott and his dad.
Waiting for the ladies!
Avery, niece of the bride and special attendant, sprinkled some more petals on the aisle.
Here comes the bride! Her father, Richard, was most happy to escort her in.
"Who presents this woman, Cayce, to be married to this man, Scott?"
Beautiful wedding scene...
We laughed a lot during their story!
Scott sweated a lot and I wiped his face off with my hankie!
Vows and rings....
The sand is joined into one container....
The legal moment!
The fun part!
Jackson and Avery ring the bell during the kiss!
"Dearest family and friends, it is my distinct honor to now present to you for the first time as husband and wife, Scott and Cayce!"
The guests gathered on the terrace for cocktails prior to the reception as the wedding party posed for their photos.
What a fun wedding!
Cayce and Scott, you are a wonderfully compatible couple and I am so happy you found each other. I wish you all the best and when the wee ones come along, call me for the baby blessing ceremony and we will work together again!
