Rowena and Niyi Adeyemi's Traditional Engagement Ceremony

Rowena Akerele is a childhood friend and when she asked me to plan her engagement from inception to the day I was delighted! Particularly because I knew it would be a different spin on the typical engagement. The colours of the day were vibrant orange with white and the mood and pace of the party matched the colours. Music and entertainment played a big role at this engagement party. At the beginning of the ceremony the saxophonist Bolaji Sax entertained guests after which his band took over. Once the traditional part  was concluded, there was a performance by a dance troupe from CIS school where Rowena teaches, after that DJ K (Kofo) spun tunes until after midnight! The amount of people who turned up was a testament to the bride and grooms popularity. Guests danced and rocked till after midnight! Definitely a fun engagement.  I wish Mr. and Mrs. Adeyemi a happy married life.
