Justin emailed me in April that he and Stephanie wanted to get married over Memorial Day weekend and needed an officiant. He is in the US Army and stationed in Arizona. I replied that I was available and would love to officiate and also told him about my wedding garden where I can host small weddings in a quiet private setting. I heard from Stephanie the next day and she and her mother came by to have a look at the garden. They decided that was perfect for them and their few close family and friends! So the wedding was set for May 24, 2013 at 6:30 PM in my garden.
Justin and his best man, Andrew, and I took our places up front and signaled for the maid of honor, Rachel to walk in followed by the bride.
Stephanie's stepfather, Scott, proudly escorted her in.
We began with a welcome to all, a prayer, then remembered the couple's fathers who are deceased.
Then we paid tribute to their mothers who were so happy to be there!
They made their vows to each other and sealed them with rings.
Mingled their sand together......
They become husband and wife.
Stephanie and Justin, congratulations on your marriage! I wish you all the best! Justin, thank you for serving our country!
